With 17 inches of new snow on the ground Tuesday morning, the Telluride Ski Resort prepared for the opening of more terrain for Wednesday morning. The newly opened terrain includes chair 6, chair 5, Prospect Bowl (chair 12) and Revelation Bowl. People anxiously waited at the top of the Gold Hill lift for the rope to drop signaling the opening of the newest addition to the Telluride Ski Resort. The official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 1pm at the base of the new lift.
